FROM OUR MISSIONARY

"All’s good here. It stopped raining a couple days ago, but it’s supposed to start up again today or tomorrow. We got to do service this week. One of our investigators had their huge avocado tree blow over in the rain. So we went and helped them clear it out. We cut off all the green stuff and piled that up and we cut off the smaller branches and he chain sawed it all up. He is going to make a bench out of one part and a table bottom out of another. We stacked a lot of the wood too and I got a small little slice for a souvenir. It was way fun, but we got really dirty. He was really grateful for our help.

We are teaching part of our 5th Sunday lesson. We already had to give three lessons without much preparation. We get a week this time. We have taught gospel principle twice and we taught in the Priest's Quorum last week. We also gave a presentation on family history and how the members can use that to get their friends to the chapel. We gave that to the Relief Society and the Elder's Quorum.

Sister B. said that they were lucky to have us in the ward and that we carry a spirit about us that not all missionaries have. We were pretty happy; it was kind of like verification that all the work we are doing with the ward actually means something. We are really building trust here. Its great!"
