22nd Wedding Anniversary

We recently celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary. We went on a marathon date. We started at the temple and then went to a home show and finally a production of As You Like It. We bought a Little Giant Ladder as an anniversary gift. Not very romantic you say? Well, in the Old Testament we read about Jacob’s dream of a ladder that reached to heaven. Jacob realized that the covenants he made with the Lord were the rungs on the ladder. So our Little Giant Ladder is a symbol of our covenants. Although we didn’t think about it at the time, we ended up buying model 22 – for 22 years of marriage. Now that’s romantic!
