It is our tradition to attend a Memorial Day service. It is a great opportunity for me to reconnect with my feelings of patriotism. Generally there is a moment when those who have served in the military are honored. David stands as the Navy song is played. My heart is always filled with gratitude, and my mind with sweet memories when the band plays "our song".
