We had a great time on our family vacation to San Francisco. We toured Alcatraz, shopped at Pier 39, had lunch at Fisherman's Wharf and walked the Golden Gate Bridge.
This ship, on exhibit at Fisherman's Wharf, is similar to the cargo ship Grandpa C. served on as a Merchant Marine during WWII.
Jelly Belly Jelly Beans are RaDawn's favorite candy so of course the factory tour was a fun part of our the trip.
We weren't the only family to take photos on the Oakland temple grounds. There was a number groups using the grounds for photos. There were several Quinceanera girls and even a non-LDS wedding party that took photos. I imagine those familiar with the LDS church will be a little confused at seeing a photo of a bride with a strapless wedding gown standing in front of a Mormon Temple.
