We celebrated Sadie's birthday and her recognition award with Grandma and Grandpa C. It is their tradition to give their granddaughters a string of pearls when they turn 16. Of course the pearls are accompanied by a wonderful letter explaining the significance of this special gift.
Sadie loves Grandma's sock monkeys and has been wanting one of her very own, so Grandma made her one and gave him a little back pack with a string of pearls tucked inside.
Grandparents are the best!
