Holiday Fun

We had two free rooms at a Marriott that we needed to use by the end of the year so we decided to go to Salt Lake City and stay over night downtown.

We went to the Garden Restaurant at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for dinner and then took a quick walk through Temple Square to see the lights. (It was freezing-way too cold to linger)

The next day we checked out City Creek and then went to Grandma and Grandpa Craven's 

to watch BYU play in the Poinsettia Bowl.

While at Grandma and Grandpa's David presented RaDawn with her Young Woman Recognition Award.  RaDawn has been working on the Personal Progress program with the girls for the past several years and recently completed the requirements for Moms.  It was sweet to have Dave, the kids, 

and Grandma and Grandpa C. all pay special tribute to RaDawn.
