FEIS (Irish Step Dancing Competition)

Sadie was a participant at the Feis. The Feis was sponsored by Sadie's dance school so it was fun for David and I to volunteer and learn a little more about this Irish Dance thing. Sadie competes in 7 dances, 4 soft shoe dances and 3 hard shoe dances. Sadie was awarded 4 medals for her individual events. If a competitor is ranked 1st or 2nd in any of the dances she can move up to the next level of competition. In addition to individual competition their are Figure dances which are dances done as a group. Sadie and her partners were awarded 3 medals in the figure dances. We are pleased that Sadie has discovered this talent and is doing so well.
